1000 True Fans. Part One.
A friend of mine, introduced me to Kevin Kelly & his 1000 True Fans concept. Tim Ferriss also features this article in his new book, Tools of Titans. It's a good one!!
In the words of Kelly, “To be a successful creator you don’t need millions. You don’t need millions of dollars or millions of customers, millions of clients or millions of fans.
To make a living as a designer, author, animator, app maker, entrepreneur, or inventor you need only thousands of true fans.”
Kelly defines a “true fan” as a fan who will buy anything you produce. They are the people who will sign up for your unlimited yoga class memberships. They’ll take all your teacher trainings, they attend all your workshops. They’ll sign up for your coaching packages, take all your online courses & will buy all your podcasts.

For today — best thing you can do, is to LOVE and NURTURE your current clients and students, like they’re *family*. Like any relationship, nourishing clients takes work. It takes dedication and authenticity. Not just faking it. But, truly loving and appreciating them, for their support. In the end, it’s far easier to nurture the clients you have, than to keep finding new ones.
